Salam alaikum, jazakAllah for posting this!!!!!!
I love ur word for word arabic translations:)
However, I have a few questions. Is it "ash hadu ALLA" like you say it, or "ANla"?
and is it "muhammadaN rasulullah" or "muhammadaR rasullah"?
and with the english translations...can abduhu also mean servant ? or is it just slave?
wa alaikum assalam to Anonymous
wa iyyakum.
Good questions.
1- In Arabic, when you apply Tajweed rules in joining one word to another, the pronouncetion is changed.
So, AN-LA becomes AL-LA.
Muhammadan Rasullullah becomes Muhammadar-Rasullullah.
As for Abd it means slave, but in English can be translated into servant or slave.
and Allah knows best
Thanks for your kind words :)
